PUBG map guides

Better PUBG rotations start before the first circle closes.

Each map changes how you should land, loot, rotate, and review your match. Use these guides as a practical checklist before you open a replay or compare player stats.

Erangel

8x8 km - Balanced macro map

Erangel rewards fundamentals: strong vehicle planning, safe compound selection, and disciplined late-game terrain control. Because the map has open fields and long sightlines, rotations without a plan are punished quickly.

Landing

Choose Pochinki, School, or Military Base when you want immediate fighting practice. Choose Lipovka, Mylta, or Severny when you want enough loot with cleaner early rotations.

Suggestion for improvement

In replay review, check whether your first vehicle decision gave you central options or trapped you on the edge.

Miramar

8x8 km - Long-range terrain control

Miramar is built around elevation, vehicle control, and long-range damage. Players who understand ridgelines and timing can avoid desperate late rotations across exposed desert.

Landing

Pecado and Hacienda are high-risk fight schools. Chumacera, Los Leones edges, and El Azahar give strong loot with more flexible paths into the first circle.

Suggestion for improvement

Review whether your squad entered the next ridge before enemies could hold it, or whether you arrived after the playable terrain was already taken.

Sanhok

4x4 km - Fast close-range pressure

Sanhok compresses teams quickly and makes third parties common. Audio awareness, short rotations, and clean building clears matter more than long vehicle routes.

Landing

Bootcamp and Paradise Resort are intense practice drops. Quarry edges, Kampong, and smaller compounds give quieter starts while keeping you close to fights.

Suggestion for improvement

Check whether your deaths came from the team you fought or from a third party that heard you stay in the same angle too long.

Taego

8x8 km - Wide rotations with comeback pressure

Taego mixes large open spaces with dense towns and unique comeback mechanics. The map rewards teams that can loot quickly, find vehicles, and adapt when the first circle pulls far.

Landing

Terminal and Palace create busy fights. Smaller roadside towns can be strong because they pair loot with fast access to vehicles.

Suggestion for improvement

Compare your vehicle timing to the circle timer. Most Taego mistakes show up as late, noisy rotations into already occupied compounds.

Vikendi

8x8 km - Compound control and visibility management

Vikendi rewards careful mid-range fighting. Sightlines can be deceptive, and teams that overstay compounds often get pinned when the next circle moves.

Landing

Castle and Cosmodrome produce heavy early fights. Smaller towns give safer starts with enough loot to build a stable mid-game loadout.

Suggestion for improvement

Review the moment you chose to leave cover. Was it based on the circle, enemy position, or panic after taking damage?

Rondo

8x8 km - Modern mixed-range macro

Rondo combines large city areas, open terrain, and varied elevation. The map asks teams to switch between urban clearing and long-range rotation discipline.

Landing

Large named areas offer strong loot and early fights. Edge compounds can be better for review-focused sessions because they reduce early chaos and make rotations easier to analyze.

Suggestion for improvement

Look for the first point where your squad lost spacing. Rondo punishes teams that move as a single clump through mixed terrain.
